Publishing Support Services

I am available to help you with your book project (printed edition and/or eBook), including:

  • technical help for your self-publishing
  • editorial review, page layout, and cover-design
  • production & distribution strategies
  • product launch & marketing

Having managed many book projects, I can help make key decisions, do hands-on prep and polishing, and keep you from making the mistakes often made by those just getting started in indie or self-publishing projects.

Let’s talk about your project. I would love to help make it better!

The first book I produced, Threshing Days, won the 1989 Banta Award, a top literary prize from the Wisconsin Library Association.

Subsequent titles have won various national indie-press awards, including:

  • Benjamin Franklin Award (two times, both for nonfiction)
  • Foreword’s Book of the Year Award (for nonfiction)
  • Small Press Book Award (for fiction)

Other projects have been selected as finalists for:

  • Minnesota Book Award
  • Great Lakes Book Award
  • Living Now Book Award
  • and other honors (for children’s literature, photography, and other genres)
